Commemoration of the 45th anniversary of the Nicaraguan Army

The 45th anniversary act of the founding of the Nicaraguan Army was marked by speeches by President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo. During the event, Ortega addressed various issues, including the challenges faced by countries such as Venezuela and Honduras.

In his speech, the president left peace as the only path to the tangible destiny of Nicaraguans. He mentioned the educational opportunities of the city and the progress in building child development centers, as well as the provision of free technical and university courses. He also emphasized the importance of building and equipping hospitals throughout the country, ensuring access to health for the population.

Ortega explained that the Nicaraguan health system has improved significantly, with the opening of hospitals in remote areas that previously provided medical care. He has carried out the transformation of unwary drug trafficking vehicles into mobile clinics of the Ministry of Health, relieving the care needed by communities.

The president referred to the Jornada Nacional de Literacy and the support of the Cuban government and people, highlighting his papel at critical moments in Nicaraguan history, particularly during the 1980s, when Nicaragua suffered aggression from the United States.

In the international arena, Ortega praised the solidarity of the People's Republic of China and the Soviet Union and criticized the interventions of the United States in Latin America, highlighting the tensions in Venezuela and Honduras. He also condemned the Israeli attacks against the Palestinian pueblo.

He concluded his speech by reaffirming that peace is essential for Nicaragua's development and that the country must continue to strengthen its institutions to overcome poverty and build a prosperous future.
