With great excitement until the final, Dinamo Zagreb, Estrella Roja, Slavia Prague and Slovan Bratislava will secure their place in the next Champions League. The four teams, some with the most difficulties of the expectation, will be present in the draw scheduled for this Thursday.
Dinamo Zagreb lived up to expectations and easily qualified in the return match against Qarabag (0-2). Marko Pjaca, who opened the scoring, and an own goal by Matheus Silva sold the victory, thus allowing the Croatian team to return to the continental competition between two years.
The other three matches were more exciting. El Estrella Roja made a remarkable comeback after losing in Norway before Bodo Glimt (2-1). In the return match, the Serbs dominated and won (2-0) thanks to goals from Bruno Duarte and Spajic.
Slovan Bratislava also experienced an epic encounter. After empathizing (1-1) in Denmark, the Slovakian team was defeated (3-2) in a dramatic duel. Midtjylland seemed to be in control after coming back, but in a frenetic finale, Tolic and Barseghyan scored in four minutes, lifting their team to the Champions League.
For its part, Lille, although it lost before Slavia Prague (2-1), benefited from its victory in the partido de ida (0-2). Zhegrova's goal in the 77th minute was crucial to calm the nerves in the final moments of the match.
