The Asociación Internacional de Integridad de Apuestas (IBIA) has announced the successful conclusion of an educational program on integrity in sport for Canadian Premier League (CPL) teams. This program, designed to educate players about the importance of integrity in soccer, was created in collaboration with the Asociación de Futbolistas Profesionales de Canada (PFA Canada).
Program details
The program combined professional capacity and online resources, including training sessions delivered by PFA Canada. Cases 200 players de la CPL participated in this initiative, which began in Ontario and extended to Alberta, even abandoning provinces such as Nova Scotia, Manitoba and British Columbia. This commitment forms part of a two-year educational compromise between the IBIA and PFA Canada.
