This morning, the president of La Rioja, Gonzalo Capelláninaugurated the first technological day entitled “Ezcaray: technology for the future”. In his speech, he underlined the importance of digitalisation as a development driver for the rural world and small municipalities, describing it as a “development platform with a vision of the future”.

Capellán was accompanied by several authorities, including the alcalde de Ezcaray, Diego Bengoathe economics council, Belinda Leoneand the dean of the Colegio de Ingenieros Industriales de Aragón y La Rioja, Salvador Galvé. In his speech, President Riojano explained how digitalization can transform agricultural activity, contribute to environmental sustainability and promote entrepreneurship in the rural world.
«The objective is to establish population and improve the quality of life in our municipalities», stated Capellán, referring to the need to fight despoblación.
