Presupposition and new environmental concerns in Aragón

The general director of fiscal charges of the Government of Aragon, Francisco Pozuelo, estimated that the reconciliation for new environmental charges could yield 12 million euros, considering 8.5 million for wind farms and 3 million for photovoltaic parks. This represents a reduction from the 20 million initially expected.

Details of the recommendation

Pozuelo noted that, despite the reduction of expectations of reconciliation, no “worrying consequences” are anticipated thanks to the good desempeño of other impuestos, such as the Patrimonio y Sucesiones. Real estate activity, which is maintained at a good pace, could offset the revenue losses.

The lack of information in establishing the initial figures led to retaliation in the implementation of the new obligations and regulatory changes. He underlined the importance of having precise data on the dimensions of installations for adequate regulation.

Plazzi and projections

They hope that the law will come into force between March and February, even if they have lost months of recovery. For next year, it is estimated that total revenues for environmental impacts could rise to up to 22 million euros.

Political reactions

PSOE

Óscar Galeano, of the PSOE, expressed his concern about regulatory changes that could reduce shame and record that environmental impacts should offset reductions in other defendants.

VOX

Fermín Civiac criticized the application of the law, stating that it was not fulfilling the consensus acquired with the PSOE, which would have discouraged the proliferation of renewable energy.

Aragon-Teruel exists

María Pilar Buj complained that the law does not adequately consider the environmental impact and criticized the fact that the most contaminating ones are not paying enough.

Other groups

José Luis Soro highlighted the importance of incentives for sustainable development in the renewable energy sector. Álvaro Sanz (IU) made future plans, especially in relation to projects such as those of the Maestrazgo, which could not be adequately burdened.

The expected recommendation and the implementation of new environmental impulses in Aragón have sparked intense political debate, reflecting concerns about the balance between environmental sustainability and the need for fiscal inputs. The different postures enhance the complexity of managing the transition to cleaner energy in the context of tax legislation.
