The Catalan Tourism Agency (ACT) inaugurated today LATAM Reverse Days in Barcelona, an essential event to promote the Catalan tourist offer in Latin American markets. This meeting brought together 75 operators and travel agents in the countries of Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, taking the opportunity to explore the best of Catalonia.
Activities and experiences
Participants enjoyed a series of technical visits to emblematic places of cultural and food and wine interest, including the Fundación Joan Miró, the Palau de la Música and the canteras de Juvé & Camps. These activities are designed to restore the cultural and gastronomic richness of Catalonia, while promoting more sustainable and responsible tourism.
Enfoque in quality tourism
The days are not only centered on the relocation of tourism, but also seek to attract a traveler profile that values high-quality experiences. With this strategy, ACT claims to increase the connection between tourists and medium-high consumption, contributing to the economic and social development of the region.

The event also served as a platform for 67 companies, including 17 Catalan, who will market their services and experiences directly to buyers. Entre las empresas presents se encuentran Ohla Boutique Hotel, Hotel H10 Yes Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelonawhich will show the diversity and hospitality of the Catalan tourist offer.
Compromise with the Latin American market
The ACT raised the cabo talleres in North America and South America as part of its compromise to position Catalonia as an internationally attractive tourist destination. Since their inauguration in 2010 and 2014, these hotels have been instrumental in adapting to market trends and defining marketing strategies that are in line with the preferences of Latin American tourists.
Through initiatives such as los LATAM Reverse DaysCatalonia has established itself as a top-tier tourist destination, attracting visitors who don't want to visit alone, but enjoy unique and sustainable experiences in one of Europe's most vibrant regions. The ACT continues to work to promote tourism that benefits both visitors and the local community.
